    Question *

Is an electric bike worth it?

Yes, totally. An electric bike offers the same benefits of conventional bikes - mobility and a healthy lifestyle. But the power to go faster and further come as significant benefits! E-bikes make cycling more accessible in challenging conditions like uphill riding, front wind, and others. Check out the reasons to join the e-bike community: link
Is it legal to own an electric bike?
Owning an electric bike is legal in the United States. Federal regulations limit an electric motor power to 750W. The speed limit is 20 mph on flat terrain by using the throttle mode solely. Bear in mind that these regulations apply to public roads and trails only. You can ride an e-bike that doesn’t conform to federal regulations on private property only. What are the disadvantages of electric bikes?
The two main disadvantages are higher cost and heavier weight. In comparison to conventional bicycles, e-bikes tend to be more expensive due to electric parts and high-end software. Besides, electric bikes are heavier. The electric motor and the battery are the chief sources of extra weight. Heavier weight can be an inconvenience if you have to lift your e-bike onto a rack, for example.
Is an electric bike faster than a conventional bike?
Yes, an e-bike is faster. Most electric bikes allow you to select the level of assistance you prefer for your pedaling. So, you can always count on the power from the electric motor to reach a higher speed if it is necessary.
Do I need a license to ride an electric bike?
In the United States, classification of electric bikes varies by local state regulations. If the state classifies e-bikes as motorized vehicles, then licensing and registration are needed. Otherwise, you don’t need a license to ride an e-bike. To avoid any problem with the authorities, you should consult the corresponding state requirements to ride an electric bike.
How much does an electric bike cost?
The prices of electric bikes vary greatly. The price depends on the tech specs, quality of components, warranty, and other factors. Budget-level e-bikes cost between $500 and $1,000. However, if you are after a durable and functional e-bike, be ready to pay $1,000-$2,500 for a mid-level e-bike. Higher-end electric bikes can cost as much as $10,000. Check our ultimate buyer’s guide link
How long does the battery of an electric bike last?
The lifespan of an e-bike battery goes from two to five years. The main factor that determines the battery lifespan is the quality of construction. Our high-end battery is designed for 300 charging cycles. However, misuse and lack of care can reduce the lifespan drastically.
Can I ride an electric bike without pedaling?
Some electric bikes have a throttle mode, which allows riding without pedaling. The throttle mode is useful when you need a break or want to go faster and further without using pedal assist.

QK RANGER 750W REAR HUB DRIVE

This bike is Awesome!!!! Only have about 45 miles on it but this bike is a game changer for me . I've had 6ea knee surgeries and my regular mountain bike was killing me 😁This bike climbs hills really well . I highly recommend getting the rear hub drive because if you break a chain or derailer hanger ( like I did ) you can still get back undRead more about review stating 2019 QK RANGER 750W REAR HUB DRIVEer power utilizing pedal assist or thumb throttle. I would have been pushing a mid drive bike for 3 miles !!Also my suggestion if your 5'10" or shorter definitely get the 17" frame as these bikes are big , my hunting buddy who's 6' tall and an avid bike rider says the 17" frame would be perfect for him while dressed heavy and suits him fine when dressed regular . I'm only 5' 6" and I with they had a 15-16" frame 👍🏼

    Better than I expected

I am very happy with the bike. I've put about a hundred miles on it so far but mostly in town. I'm about to take it out for a few weeks hunting in northern Arizona and looking forward to it. The only negative thing I can say so far is that it seems like I am already having to tighten bolts etc because things seem to be coming loose. Also i have a squeak in my brake and it doesn't like to down shift to 5th gear on the bike but after an email to Quietkat they said I need to take it to a bike shop and if there is something actually defective they will pay the bill.
